My Boss is a Wanted Woman

  Longtime legal secretary and office manager Carol Frank not-so-secretly harbors a wish to be a detective, a passion that has gotten her into trouble more than once.  Now at last she gets her chance to be part of a real investigation, when Detective Gus Haglund asks her to go undercover at a shady law firm.  She is supposed to unobtrusively aid the police with their investigation of the suspicious activities there.  But curious and intuitive Carol soons finds out that there is more going on than even the police realize.  Carol once again must tackle a myriad of baffling questions.  Why does Carol's boss don mysterious robes and sneak out at night?  Why does the mail clerk know so much more about everyone's lives than he should?  What should an attorney do when the judge's sweater is stolen by her client?  And most crucially, does a busy undercover secretary really have time to plan a wedding?
